Sometimes other people have really cool lists, and I want to post something else to their list that they haven't already posted. I have the ability to steal someone's list if I relist something that they write, and then post something new to that list.
If I was able to post something directly to a list that I didn't create, it would promote lists with the same name, which would be awesome for the "See what everyone is posting to this list" button, and would also be awesome for when the creator of the list posts something that I want to relist, because then I could confidently post it without having to find my very similarly worded list in my drop down. |
