They had a bake sale, and charged different races different prices (just like how college does this via scholarships,) and offered a twenty-five cent discount to all women. Native American women actually ate at the bake sale for free.
Another interesting point about racism: When African American and Caucasian Americans both took the implicit racism test, the following results were discovered: When African American participants displayed an inclination towards their own race, they felt pride. When Caucasian Americans displayed an inclination towards their own race, they felt guilty of being racist. All participants were at about the same education level, and all worked in professional environments. |
